Two new evening activities with free childcare in NDG

We have recently launched two new evening activity series and we want to tell you all the details.

Women, Power, Action Group⚡

You may have seen these pink posters around town! This is a group dedicated to learning and exchanging about different activist practices, to find the power in all of us and make positive changes in our communities. It is a great place to share your ideas and your passions, and connect with other amazing individuals. This group is hosted every-other Wednesday, from 6:00-8:30, at the St Raymond’s Centre (5600 Upper Lachine Road). No preparation or experience required, just bring yourself. 😊

Stronger Together 🦋

For those of you that don’t already know, Women on the Rise has launched two new support groups for survivors of intimate partner violence—one in French and one in English. These groups alternate every Monday evening, from 6:30-8:30 pm. October 30th will be the next English session, and November 6th will be the next French session. These groups are dedicated to holding space for individuals with diverse experiences and all are welcome to participate. Please note that for now, the English group is full, but we have a waiting list started. We still have spaces left in our French group, so if this is something your are interested in, please feel free to get in touch! We are not advertising the location of this group, but we are happy to disclose the exact address to you if you talk to any of our staff by phone or in person.
